PMI Hardship Provision

We want to share information that could assist members who may be facing financial challenges in renewing their PMI membership, particularly if their renewal date is approaching in the coming months.

PMI offers a Hardship Provision for members who have experienced a significant and unexpected change in their financial circumstances, making it difficult to maintain their membership. To be eligible, applicants must have been active PMI members in good standing for at least the past three consecutive years.

This provision allows eligible members to receive a one-year waiver for their PMI membership fees, as well as fees for up to two PMI Chapter memberships held the previous year. Members can apply for this provision for up to two years in total. To learn more about this option or to apply, we encourage you to contact PMI before your membership expiration date.

Please note that any false or inaccurate information provided during the application process violates PMI’s Member Ethical Standards and Standards of Conduct. Such violations may result in an ethics review as outlined in the PMI Member Ethics Case Procedures.
