Taking control of the consulting process in any business environment is vital. The right type of consultant, will bring value to an organization and credit to the managers who hire them. The consulting industry has evolved from a profession where work was undertaken on the basis of trust and a handshake, into a massive, revenue-driven industry, with sophisticated sales, contracting and client management processes. Yet many organizations that hire consultants fail to recognize these changes and the need to adapt their approaches accordingly.

The objective of the session is to provide assistance to make appropriate choices about hiring consultants and manage them more effectively over the course of the project.

Klaus has extensive experience with large scale / complex / multi site / multi country projects and programs as well as all aspects of SAP/systems implementations / ”rollouts”.Klaus fulfilled various roles including Program Management & Project Management, Solution Architecture & System Integration and  Functional Consulting. Klaus also worked  in various PMO environments. He gained his experience across various sectors, including: Financial Services, Real Estate, Media, Chemical, Pharma, Construction, Services and Manufacturing. In the past, he worked with KPMG Management Consulting  & Price Waterhouse Coopers Management Consulting in Germany and KPMG Management Consulting  & Capgemini Technology Consulting in Australia.
