Culture and its Impact on Project Managers in Thailand

“Culture becomes a critical factor in defining project success, and multi-cultural competence becomes critical for the project manager.”(Source: PMBOK Guide, 5th Edition, Page 21). If you are an expat project manager working, living, or doing projects in Thailand, this presentation should address areas of knowledge that may assist you in working with your fellow local Thai project managers or project team members generally. Thai project managers may also find this informative as the presentation will also look into how people from other cultures behave in different contexts.

During this presentation, participants will learn about the impact that Thai culture ‘plays’ in the workplace. The speaker will look into how most Thai people view other cultures. The presentation is highly interactive and we look forward to a productive and informative discussion. Come prepared!
