Projects and project management play a vital role in any business or business operation. With newly emerging technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI) the question how these technologies can be used in project management. AI powered tools & technologies may support project managers in the daily work. Improving effectiveness and efficiency is an ever-growing challenge for each project manager. AI driven tools and technologies might be the answer to the challenge. The session will explore areas where AI can be used in the field of project management but also address ethical aspects of using such technologies. We will investigate AI based tools, data gathering, analysis and performance optimization. As this topic is a relatively new aspect in project management the session will be more of an “explorative” nature outlining a point of view and status of the current research encouraging the audience to share thoughts and experience around the topic.
Klaus Rappolt is a senior director working for the Capgemini Financial Services Global Business Unit in the APAC region, based in Hong Kong. Klaus has extensive experience with large scale / complex / multi-site / multi country projects and programs as well as all aspects of ERP implementations / ”rollouts”.
Klaus fulfilled various roles including Program Management & Project Management, Solution Architecture & System Integration and Functional Consulting. Klaus also worked in various PMO roles. He gained his experience across various sectors like, Financial Services, Real Estate, Media, Chemical, Pharma, Construction, Services and Manufacturing. In the past, he worked with KPMG Management Consulting & Price Waterhouse Coopers Management Consulting in Germany and KPMG Management Consulting & Capgemini Technology Consulting in Australia.
He is a certified PMP (Sep-2005) and member of PMI and PMI Thailand Chapter since June 2005.
