PMI Thailand Chapter invites you to a special half-day technical field trip to explore the MRT Purple Line Project: Tao Pun – Rat Burana (Kanchanapisek Road) Section, a flagship public infrastructure initiative set to transform urban mobility in Bangkok.

This visit offers an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience, combining a technical briefing from one of the project’s leading contractors with a guided tour of a station currently under construction.

The MRT Purple Line Project: Tao Pun – Rat Burana (Kanchanapisek Road) Section spans 23.6 kilometers and is designed to enhance north-south connectivity across Bangkok. It features:

  • 17 stations (10 underground and 7 elevated)

  • Park and Ride facilities to support commuter access

  • Advanced rail and signaling systems

  • Environmental impact mitigation and community-centered design

  • A construction cost exceeding 82 billion THB

🧭 Project Route and Station Locations

The route travels through the districts of Bang Sue, Dusit, Phra Nakhon, Pom Prap Sattru Phai, Samphanthawong, Bang Rak, Sathon, Yan Nawa, and Rat Burana.
