Synopsis of the 1 hour talk: Conflicts of interest, personal differences or conflicting tasks required by different organizational units: In this lecture you will learn how to identify and resolve such, and other, conflicts as early on as possible. You will also learn how you can strengthen your team’s cohesiveness. On a personal level, you will learn how to feel more at ease with, and better deal with conflict.

- Defining conflict: What is conflict?
- Identifying conflict in the early stages
- Analyzing conflict with tried and tested tools
- Developing strategies to resolve conflict
- Resolving conflict (for example by facilitating conversations to resolve conflict)
- Bringing in professional help in extreme cases
- Feeling more at ease and safe with conflicts
The speaker has real world experience in executing project in Europe, Asia and US; from the initial idea until the days when the ROI is proven. He has 20+ years’ experience in PM and line management in the IT industry. Walter trains, coaches and teaches project management and management skills in Europe and Asia.
