PMP 2026: What’s Changing, What’s New & the M.O.R.E. Framework

  • April 29, 2026 - 6:00pm
  • Four Points by Sheraton 566 Ploenchit Road Lumpini, Bangkok 10330, Thailand

The project management profession is at a turning point. PMI’s landmark 2025 global research — surveying more than 5,800 professionals, executives, and stakeholders worldwide — reveals a sobering reality: only half of all projects today are considered truly successful. Completing a project on time and within budget is no longer enough. Success is now defined by the value delivered — value that stakeholders perceive as worth the effort and expense.

In this session, Dr. Petros Rigas, PhD, PMP, brings together two of the most important developments shaping the project management profession in 2025 and 2026: PMI’s new M.O.R.E. Framework and the updated PMP® Certification Exam launching in July 2026.

What you will learn:

You will discover the M.O.R.E. Framework — PMI’s research-backed call to action that challenges project professionals to Manage perceptions, Own project success, Relentlessly reassess project parameters, and Expand perspective beyond the deliverable. You will explore the Net Project Success Score (NPSS), PMI’s new industry-standard metric, and understand how applying all four M.O.R.E. elements can raise project success scores from 27 to 94 — more than tripling perceived project success. You will also get a comprehensive walkthrough of every significant change coming to the PMP® exam in July 2026, including the restructured domain weightings, the expanded Business Environment domain (tripled from 8% to 26%), the shift to 60% agile and hybrid content, the new Case/Scenario and Graphic-Based question types, updated eligibility requirements, and key preparation strategies aligned to the new Exam Content Outline.

Who should attend:

This session is essential for project managers and team leads preparing for or planning to renew their PMP® certification, professionals interested in understanding how PMI is redefining project success, organisational leaders looking to improve project outcomes across their teams, and anyone who wants to stay current with the latest thinking and standards driving the global project management profession.
