‘Digital’ companies have expanded and grown immensely over the last decade or so. Specifically, telecommunication companies have expanded in an unprecedented way. Becoming multinational has undeniable advantages but it also brings in new difficulties and challenges. This openness provides a cultural wealth and leaves collaborators with challenges to work with different nationalities in diverse environments.
What are these cultural challenges and where do they come from? How do they affect telecommunication projects? How should project managers better collaborate with stakeholders in different geographic locations? The speaker will answer these questions with the help of a case study and use real examples derived from her experiences.
