Information technology project management requires project management tools and techniques to secure project success in accordance with its objectives. With courtesy of the Graduate School of Management and Innovation, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), ‘Problems and Techniques in IT Project Management for Thailand Business’ research was undertaken with project managers working in information technology service providers and banks in Thailand to study project managers’ attitudes towards problems, tools and techniques applied in projects.This presentation discussed research findings in terms of project problems and tools usage. Findings can be used for project management methodology improvement to strengthen project-based working environment and drive executive awareness in project management.
