This presentation will look at the skills that can help us in our day to day relationships at work with our colleagues, staff and manager’s. We will look at some of the tools and techniques that are available to make sense of people and how to manage them with integrity and honesty. The presentation will give participants a “taste” of the speaker’s life as a manager of people as our best resource, how to grow them and take enjoyment from their successes.
Richard (Dick) Enstone, joined British Telecom 1974 as a Technical Engineering Apprentice graduating with distinction in 1977. Joined the Office Automation and LAN team in the 1980’s when networking was a new technology, becoming a manager and an expert on LAN’s and WAN’s in the early days of this new environment. Has worked for the World Health Organisation and other small networking and computer security companies in various capacities. Spent 25 years as a climber and mountaineer, scaling some of the most difficult climbs in Europe, Africa, US and Russia. Currently studying to be a Guide at the National Museum of Bangkok.
