Our esteemed speaker this month will take us through some of these essential elements and will highlight areas of concern to help avoid legal calamities.

Mr. Michael Doyle is a licensed US lawyer and partner of the law firm Seri Manop and Doyle based in Bangkok, Thailand. He has practiced in Thailand since 1996.

Michael is the author of the books Doyle’s Practical Guide to Business Law in Emerging Countries in Asia which is published by Carolina Academic Press in the US and covers China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam and Doyle’s Practical Guide to Thailand Business Law (3rd Edition).

His core areas of expertise are direction foreign investment merger acquisition dispute resolution and oil and gas law, and he is fluent in both spoken and written Thai.

Michael has published over 70 articles in newspapers, magazines and trade journals on issues concerning foreign investment in Southeast Asia and he is a frequent public speaker in the region.
