Decision Tree Analysis for Project Managers

This presentation will examine an analytical and systematic approach for making complex business decisions. Participants will learn how to make good decisions based on logic after considering all available data and the possible alternatives. Decision tables and decision trees will be used to understand the expected risk and benefits of each decision in the process. A case study will examine the use of this approach as a small business makes decisions around the construction of a new building. The discussion will also include sensitivity analysis and maximum utility theory as important considerations in the decision making process.
