Design Thinking and Project Management

You may have recently come across various buzzwords related to the process of ‘Design Thinking’. From Agile to Human-Centric Design, or from Customer Journeys to Design Thinking approaches. This session will introduce the Design Thinking concept and its applications in project management and the organization as a whole. Participants will understand some of the methods, tools, and practices used in aiding the design thinking process – examples include: round robin, creative matrix, journey map, and concept posters. Join us and learn from our experienced speaker in this domain.

KIAT at PMI ThailandKiat Inthuwannart graduated from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Major in Telecommunication Engineering. He also earned a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Currently, Kiat is Technology Consulting Manager at Accenture.
Kiat has more than 10 years’ experience managing and leading project teams. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). Recently, he has been working on both Passenger’s and Cargo’s IT implementation projects with a leading airline involving business and IT perspectives. He has experience helping clients in setting up and running PMOs. He has helped clients manage Change and Communication Teams to facilitate process improvement and lean practice at warehouses. Prior to joining Accenture, he worked as a Release and Process team leader at Thomson Reuters. He also has experience working in Telecommunication Projects such as In-building coverage and new site expansion.
