Speaker Profile

William Malek has been working with management teams for over 30+ years to design, plan and implement "executable" strategies and build organizational capabilities for innovation and transformation. He is the former program director for the Advanced Project Management Program at Stanford University. As one of the top-ranked instructors in the program, he taught and consulted on Enterprise Strategic Risk Management and also helped design and teach award-winning courses “Converting Strategy into Action,” “Mastering the Project Portfolio,” "Designing Organizations for Execution,"​ and “Leadership for Strategic Execution.”  Some of his innovative thinking around the Strategy Execution Framework is described in his co-authored book entitled,Executing Your Strategy: How to Break it Down & Get it Done, published by the Harvard Business School Press. He has certifications in Project Management, New Product Development, Executive Coaching & Group Facilitation and sits on several Boards.
